The web site Venus febriculosa recently sponsored a contest for redesigning the album cover for Brian Eno's Music for Films. The above are four covers I developed, with the top being the one submitted. As a fan of Eno's music, and since Before and After Science, I was always intrigued by the balance of its gossamer nature vs. its concrete nature, the complexity vs. the simplicity, light vs.dark.
